A dozen tools that don't talk to each other, or one that does.
Most dealerships pay for a CRM, a chat vendor, an appraisal tool, a phone system, a texting app and more, each with its own login and its own copy of the customer. StackDrive puts all of it on one record, on one monthly bill.
Your current stack, 7 tools (estimated)
$2,800–$8,300/mo
StackDrive for 10 users, with the matching add-ons
$1,294/mo
That's an estimated $1,500–$7,000 a month more than StackDrive for your team.
Ranges are StackDrive's estimates for one rooftop based on typical published pricing, not vendor quotes. Your own costs will vary; build your exact StackDrive quote below.

What changes when it's one platform
Before: A web lead waits in the chat vendor's inbox until someone remembers to check it.
With StackDrive: It's routed to the next rep in seconds, and the response time is on the record.
Before: Appraisal numbers get retyped into the deal worksheet, and sometimes typed wrong.
With StackDrive: The approved trade-in value flows straight into the deal.
Before: The service writer has no idea who sold the car.
With StackDrive: The repair order uses the same customer and vehicle records, so the sale, the salesperson and every note are already on file.
Before: Commissions are rebuilt in a spreadsheet at the end of every month.
With StackDrive: They post automatically when the deal is delivered, ready for payroll.
Before: Every new hire needs six logins, and every departure means six to remove.
With StackDrive: One team, one set of roles and permissions.
Where StackDrive fits
The straight answer on the main things StackDrive doesn't do yet.
- Keep your accounting system for the books
- StackDrive doesn't keep a general ledger, produce financial statements or run F&I menu selling, and it doesn't sync with a DMS today. Keep your accounting system for the books and run sales, phones, appraisals, inventory, service, parts and commissions in StackDrive.
- Website chat is AI, not a staffed BDC
- The chat is answered by AI and your reps can take over from the inbox. It answers inventory questions and captures leads, but it doesn't book appointments or provide live chat agents.
- Third-party lead emails arrive unparsed
- ADF/XML lead emails from Autotrader, Cars.com or OEM portals aren't parsed yet. Forwarded to your StackDrive address, each becomes an unassigned email lead with no alert, so someone has to read it and set up the customer. Website chat, web-form and leads-API leads arrive directly and are routed automatically.
- No call-tracking numbers
- StackDrive records calls and scores them on a fixed four-skill scorecard, on one business number per dealership. It doesn't hand out tracking numbers per ad source, so keep your call-tracking service if you rely on that attribution.
- Appraisals, not market repricing
- StackDrive appraises trade-ins against live MarketCheck comps. It doesn't suggest market-based prices for your lot or put a trade-in value tool on your website.
- Keep your listing syndication
- StackDrive feeds your own website through its inventory API and prepares Facebook Marketplace listings, but it doesn't syndicate to Autotrader, Cars.com or other listing sites yet.
- One signer per e-signature request
- Each signature request goes to one signer, so a buyer and co-buyer each sign their own copy rather than one shared envelope.
- Several rooftops, several accounts
- Each rooftop runs as its own StackDrive account today, with its own team, seats and sign-ins: someone who works at two stores needs a separate login for each. Volume pricing starts at three rooftops. Shared group reporting across stores isn't available yet.
- No calendar sync yet
- Appointments live in StackDrive; there's no Google or Outlook calendar sync today.
- Payroll goes out as a file
- Commissions and pay are exported to CSV for your payroll provider rather than pushed directly to ADP or Gusto.
- Mobile apps are on the way
- Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. StackDrive already works in any phone or tablet browser and installs to the home screen.
Switching questions
Are these costs real quotes?
No. They're StackDrive's estimates for one rooftop from typical published pricing and industry reporting. Your contracts may be higher or lower; the tally lets you pick only the tools you actually pay for.
Can we keep our DMS?
Yes. StackDrive doesn't keep a general ledger or financial statements, so keep your DMS or accounting system for the books. There's no automatic sync between the two today: contacts and vehicles come in by CSV import, and commissions go out as a payroll CSV.
Can we run StackDrive alongside our current tools while we switch?
Yes. Start the trial, import your contacts and vehicles, and move one department at a time if that suits your store.
How do we get our data in?
Import contacts and vehicles from CSV exports of your current systems. Our team helps with the migration at no extra cost.
Is there a long-term contract?
Self-serve plans are billed monthly, and you can cancel from your billing settings. Multi-rooftop groups can talk to sales about custom terms.
