What Commissions & payroll does
- Versioned pay plans
- Plans for sales, service, parts and office staff. A new version never rewrites what was already earned.
- Automatic on delivery
- When a deal is delivered, the commission is calculated and posted with no spreadsheet in between.
- Hours and overtime (estimated)
- Hourly and overtime rules use shift hours a manager enters for each employee (overtime is a weekly estimate for your payroll provider to finalize). Service commissions can be based on repair orders or their lines.
- An append-only commission bank
- Earnings, advances, adjustments and chargebacks are ledger entries, so the balance is always the sum of its history.
- Pay periods you can lock
- Periods move from open to review to approved to locked, and nothing changes once they're locked.
- Payroll export
- Export each locked pay period to a CSV for your payroll provider: one line per employee for each pay code (regular pay, commissions, bonuses), using the payroll codes you map. Hourly and overtime pay export under the commissions pay code today.

No. It calculates what each person earned and exports a payroll file to CSV for the payroll system you already use.
Can employees see their own commissions?
Yes. Each person has a My Compensation page with their balance, this period's earnings, their ledger and payout requests.
